We've talked about the process of bringing home remains of a fallen soldier from the Korean War.
One thing we've not talked about yet is notifing a family. We see in movies all the time about the angst and heartbreak in seeing military notification representatives appear at someone's front door. There is always a roller coaster of emotions from the family. Denial, heartbreak, acceptance. They count on the Casualty Affairs Assistance to help them navigate this devastating path they are forced to walk.
Today's video is a dramatization of their task.
