REVIEW WEDNESDAY - Pumpkin Spice & Dangerous Nights

  Good morning, readers.

I have a book, novella really, I think you're going to love.

BLURB:

When Harper Calloway returns to Maplewood for the Harvest Festival, she only plans to spend a few quiet weeks sipping lattes and soaking in the golden glow of fall. What she doesn’t expect is to run into Eli Ward — the boy who once held her heart and the man who now knows her deepest secret.

As pumpkin spice fills the air and autumn leaves swirl through the streets, old feelings spark to life. But Maplewood holds more than cozy memories. Whispers of betrayal, a dangerous storm, and a truth long buried threaten to upend everything Harper thought she knew.

Pumpkin Spice & Dangerous Nights is a small-town fall romance filled with warmth, passion, and second chances. Perfect for fans of cozy settings with a twist of suspense, it’s a story about love rekindled when the nights turn cold and the heart longs for home.

After the very abbreviated author spotlight yesterday, I'm not sure what I expected from this book but with only thirty-three pages, I gave it a shot. I mean, what can go wrong with pumpkin spice and second chance at love, right?

In this case, not a single mis-step. Sage Whitmore knows how to write tight. In Pumpkin Spice and Dangerous Nights, we get a great opening, all the small-town feels exposed beautifully in the description, and love that never died.

If you're looking for a quick read during a lunch break or before bed, Pumpkin Spice and Dangerous Nights is the book for you.

I'm giving this book a solid...

The only link I have for Sage Whitmore is her Goodreads page.

All my best!

~Angela
