AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT & Review - Shelley Shepard Gray

 Good morning, friends!

For the next three weeks, I'll be sharing three different authors with you. Each came together for a lovely collection of Amish Christmas stories, releasing September 28th, 2021

This week, we're starting with A Christmas Cake for Rebecca, written by Shelley Shepard Gray.

First, let's meet the author:

Shelley Shepard Gray lives in southern Ohio and writes full time. A busy wife and mother of two, she spends her days writing and keeping track of her two teenagers. Her two dogs keep her company when she writes in her basement.

She enjoys writing about the Amish and visits Amish communities in Adams and Holmes counties several times a year. When not spending time with her family or writing, she serves on several committees in her church.

She also bakes a lot, loves coconut cream pie, and will hardly ever pull weeds, mow the yard, or drive in the snow.

A Christmas Cake for Rebecca was the perfect introduction to the book. While each of the three stories could stand alone, Shelley's story sets the stage as well as creating a backdrop for the other two stories.

I loved Rebecca's determination, in spite of being overwhelmed with over 150 orders of her famous Christmas cake. Aden is the perfect addition to the story. I loved how he is brought into the very female setting. You have to love a guy that will jump outside of his comfort zone to help the woman he loves succeed!

That's all I'm going to say LOL.  You can pre-order Christmas At the Amish Bakeshop now. Also... Head over to Shelley's FB (link below) to get details on how to WIN an autographed copy this month!

I'm giving this series:
